The Beginning of a New Year

The older I get the faster the years go by... 2009 was no exception. And as always those resolutions that I made last January I couldn't even remember by February - why is that? Is it because we really don't want to make changes or we try and make too many changes or that the resolutions just aren't realistic? Or maybe it's because when the going gets tough we believe Satan's lies that we aren't capable of making a change and just give up. I'M NOT GIVING UP ANYMORE!!! This year, Satan will not have a hold on me! I can do all things through Christ who gives me strength (Phil 4:13).

My New Year's resolution for 2010 -- To let God have control over my thoughts.
